Our Services

Curbside garbage and recycling collection for residential and commercial customers in the Comox Valley. Garbage pickup in 2, 3, or 4 cans (max 40lbs per can). Recycling bi-weekly or monthly. All garbage must be bagged. We empty and return your containers.

Do’s and Do nots for Curbside Pickup

Do:

• Have bins/materials at curb by 8:00am sharp on pickup day.
• Bag all garbage (for safety and to prevent litter).
• Flatten cardboard/boxboard (including pizza/shoe boxes).
• Keep recycling dry, clean, and condensed.
• Crush milk jugs/tetra packs, stack yogurt containers, rinse tin/coffee cups.
• Isolate refundables (beer/pop cans/bottles).
• Use any containers for recycling (blue boxes, garbage cans, Rubbermaid)—we empty and return.
• Contact office with pickup address and account name for questions.
• Notify us by email/phone for cancellations or changes.

Dont:

• Put out bins after 8:00am (risk missing pickup).
• Leave garbage unbagged or loose.
• Exceed 40lbs per can (driver safety—no dumping arm).
• Use BRUTE brand cans or rolling totes/carts.
• Put demolition/construction materials in garbage.
• Put glass, soft plastics (bags), styrofoam, or small electronics in recycling.
• Put yard waste out expecting separate composting (currently mixed with garbage).
